Fix Dog Spots Naturally — Heal the Soil, Not Just the Grass
1️⃣ The Problem
Dog urine burns grass because it’s loaded with urea (nitrogen) and salts that raise pH and draw water out of roots. The result: yellow or dead patches and stressed soil.
2️⃣ The Solution
Our kit restores life to the soil — it doesn’t mask the damage.
- DAKOTA Peat binds salts, buffers pH, and restores organic carbon.
- Organic REV reactivates microbial life and stimulates healthy root regrowth.
3️⃣ Quick Start (for 10–20 dog spots)
You’ll need:
- 1.5lb Jar of DAKOTA Peat Soil & Plant Enhancer
- 16 oz Organic REV (makes 16 gallons)
- Watering can or simple sprayer
- Optional: grass seed for overseeding
4️⃣ Step-by-Step Instructions
For Fresh Spots (within 24 hours):
1️⃣ Flood: Water the spot heavily to dilute salts.
2️⃣ Topdress: Lightly sprinkle DAKOTA Peat (about 2 handfuls per spot).
3️⃣ Activate: Mix 1 oz REV per gallon of water, drench the area.
4️⃣ Repeat: Apply REV again in 5–7 days.
For Older Spots (yellow or straw-colored):
1️⃣ Rake out dead grass and loosen the soil.
2️⃣ Mix 1 part DAKOTA Peat with 2 parts soil or sand; apply ¼" layer.
3️⃣ Drench with REV solution (3 oz/gal water).
4️⃣ Optionally overseed and keep moist 10–14 days.
5️⃣ Maintenance Tips
- After dogs pee, rinse the area briefly with a hose if possible.
- Lightly topdress high-traffic zones monthly with DAKOTA Peat.
- Spray or water-in REV every 2–3 weeks to maintain active soil biology.
6️⃣ Safety
All ingredients are organic, pet-safe, and eco-friendly.
Allow the treated area to dry completely before letting pets back on the lawn.
